The home ice rink studio is the infrastructure project behind the hockey development work — a dedicated 16x16 room converted into a genuine frozen ice surface, indoors, so reps happen on real ice on the days a public rink schedule doesn't cooperate. That means refrigeration and slab work, insulation and vapor barrier, drainage, and the humidity control that keeps a small indoor sheet skateable instead of foggy or soft — a very different build than a synthetic-tile setup, and one that rewards getting the mechanical side right before anything else.
