Salesforce Architect at Convergint by day — Trailhead Ranger, 11-time certified, and still the platform work that's interesting enough to be a pursuit on its own.

Why this gets its own page

Enterprise architecture is the day job, but the parts of the Salesforce ecosystem worth geeking out on go beyond any one employer's org — platform design patterns, where declarative tooling should stop and code should start, data architecture that survives five years of org growth instead of collapsing under it, and the systems-thinking habits that turn out to be useful for absolutely everything else on this site.

The certification path traces the arc of that: starting as a Certified Administrator in 2012, moving through App Builder and Platform Developer, and landing on Application Architect, Data Architect, Integration Architect, and Development Lifecycle & Deployment Architect by 2020 — the same progression from "keep the org running" to "design the system" that shows up in every build on this site, just with a different toolset.

This page will track the side of it that's genuinely a hobby: experiments in a scratch org, opinions on architecture patterns worth arguing about, and whatever's currently interesting in the ecosystem.
